National Pipe Company Ltd. was envisioned by the Sumitomo Group of Japan together with Saudi investors, to serve the oil, gas, water and construction sectors during the Kingdom's rapid industrialisation. The plant sits in Dhahran, fifteen kilometres from one of its largest customers.
